Do more when navigating with Google Maps
Google Maps helps you with more than just getting from A to B. Get traffic updates, find a gas station, report road closures, and much more.
Settings and features vary by device and Android version. The steps might be different on your phone.
After you start driving navigation, the Maps app can help you along the way.

Search
You can add a secondary destination along your route, like a restaurant or gas station. To search for a destination, on the right tap Search
.Speed
To check your speed, look to the bottom left of your screen.
Report an incident
If you encounter a traffic incident, you can report it. These reports help us show real-time traffic conditions and accidents to other users.
On the right, tap Report
and then choose a report option. Other users will see your anonymous report on the map.
