Back up photos with your Google Account

All the photos you take on your phone can be backed up and saved to your Google Account, so you can find them on any device where you're signed in.

Settings and features vary by device and Android version. The steps might be different on your phone.

    Swipe up from the bottom of your screen.

  2. Step 2 of 8

    Open the Google Photos app .

  3. Step 3 of 8

    At the top right, tap your account profile icon.

  4. Step 4 of 8

    Tap Photos settings.

  5. Step 5 of 8

    Tap Back up & sync.

  6. Step 6 of 8

    Turn on Back up & sync.

  7. Step 7 of 8

    Return to the Photos home screen. Then tap your profile icon to check the status of your backup.

    Tap Backup complete.

    Now you can find the photos you took on your phone when you sign in to Google Photos on any device.
