Use Security Checkup to get prepared
You can use Security Checkup to get personalized security recommendations so you can improve the safety of your Google Account.

Security Checkup
To get personalized and actionable recommendations for steps you can take to further protect your account, you can take a Security Checkup at g.co/securitycheckup.
The recommendations on your Security Checkup page will be tailored to your account, with the most important recommendations listed first.

2-Step Verification
Any backup options you’ve added for 2-Step Verification will appear here. If you need to make adjustments to your verification options, tap 2-Step Verification settings.
If you haven’t set up 2-Step Verification yet, this recommendation may not show in your checkup. Learn how to set up 2-Step Verification.
Your devices
See the devices where you’re currently signed in to your Google Account or have been in the last 28 days. You can sign out your account on old devices that no longer need access to your account.
Your saved passwords
View and manage the passwords you’ve saved with Google. To make sure your passwords are secure you can go directly to Password Checkup.
Important: If your passwords were compromised or a part of a data breach, you’ll get a recommendation to change those passwords. Learn how to create strong passwords.
Safe Browsing
Safe Browsing provides faster, more proactive protection against dangerous websites, downloads and extensions when you are signed in to Google apps, such as Chrome, Gmail, or Chat.
Important: Enabling Safe Browsing requires browsing data to be sent to Google.
Recent security activity
If there’s security-related activity in your account, like a new sign-in or a change in your security settings, you’ll be alerted and can find details here.
Third-party access
See any apps and sites outside of Google that have access to your Google Account info.
You can review permission details. If you want to stop sharing your data with an app or site, tap Remove access.
Sign-in & recovery
You can review your recovery options and add more if you need to. Add a phone number, recovery email and confirm your trusted mobile device in case you need to recover your account.
